– I bought the H7 and now the H9. I slightly recommend buying the H9, although this is a personal preference because I think the ear cushions on the H9 are even better than on the H7. – There is also some noise cancellation with the H9, although it is certainly not the best, you can still hear something, but every little bit helps ;). – The downside compared to the H7 is that the H9 flattens out faster, but whatever; charge that thing on time and then there will be no problem ;). – The ear cushions are nice and soft and sit wonderfully on the ears, the headband is also soft and does not hurt the head. I can literally play for hours without any problem. – Another reason why I buy the Sony gaming headphones is that if you put the microphone up, my buddy can no longer hear me via Skype, so if you have to cough or say something privately when someone is with you, you turn the microphone up and then that person can no longer hear you. Very easy and works great. – The microphone is also very good here, my buddy doesn’t complain and neither do I, everything is great, even via Skype, but I should mention that I have a new gaming PC for 2645 euros and my buddy has a new gaming laptop for 2000 euros. The reason I’m just mentioning this is that when we both had a laptop that was 5-6 years older, there were sometimes some problems with the sound and the like, sometimes it is also due to your laptop or PC or something. Now suddenly we don’t have all this misery anymore, just for your information. – The sound of the Sony H9 is also really good, especially if you adjust it to your own liking via the Inzone software. Don’t forget that you have to adjust the sound (mss) in Windows itself, I couldn’t adjust certain things such as the bass etc… this was because it was not set correctly in the Windows settings. So keep that in mind. Can you say that once everything is properly adjusted, if you then, for example, listen to YouTube, rammstein or something, it will sound very good ;). – Regarding PC gaming; I don’t really understand some people or reviewers at least say it’s just okay for PC gaming? Hug? So I absolutely disagree with that. Like I just said; Adjust everything properly to your liking in the inzone software and then also in the game settings themselves and you can be assured that the sound is really good for gaming via PC/laptop, great. For example, I’m playing back4blood and I hear the zombie coming towards me on the right or left. Of course, when things get more hectic, you lose some of that advantage, but that is not abnormal because so much is happening at that moment. – The buttons are also very good, you can quickly turn the sound down or up via the headphones, turn ANC off or on, etc. – Bluetooth is turned off for me, I’m drinking. I only use the headphones via the supplied stick. You just have to test what you want yourself, via the PC Bluetooth here, only via that stick. – What can sometimes happen is that you are watching YouTube, for example, and you are listening to someone or something and that they suddenly sing or talk slowly, then you should refresh the page and then it is solved again, that You may have that in mind, but it doesn’t bother me, it’s a small thing that is quickly fixed. – In the Inzone software, in my opinion it is best that you; automatic switching off of LED = turn on. Noise reduction and ambient noise are also on. – For the equalizer, custom is as follows; the first 2 are quite high, the 3rd just a little lower, the other half way up. But you have to decide this for yourself. But I did increase the bass, it’s just more fun. I can’t say much wrong about these headphones. Pricey? Yes folks, it is certainly not cheap, but buy one for 60 euros and you will notice a number of differences ;). If you spend quite a few hours gaming like me and listening to/watching YouTube and so on, the sound should be okay, the ear cushions should also be good, etc. That’s why you often pay a bit more than the lesser headphones. My review is purely focused on PC (and with Skype).
